On Saturday morning Sybil started with sickness & diarrhoea so we took her to the local vet who advised antibiotics and rehydration. Sybil was left at the vets and he treated her as best he could. We rang at 7pm and she seemed to be responding to the treatment but sadly she deteriorated rapidly and didn’t make it through the night. Even though she was fully vaccinated, the vet thinks she had picked up Pavo virus but we have no idea how or where it was contracted.
She was loving her big adventure so much and will be sadly missed, we are both heart-broken.
Sybil – 26-3-2011 to 7-4-2013 – RIP.
Oh Jane and John, I’m so so sorry 🙁 we’re all sad to hear this. Atleast you gave her a lovely happy life in her last months. Hope you’re both okay xxxx
So sorry to hear that news.
I am so sad for you both. She had a lovely life and was dearly loved but that won’t ease the sense of loss I know. Perhaps Time will do its healing though, and I hope you will soon think of her with only smiles and no tears. Much love to you both.xxxx

These photos are bringing tears to my eyes, but look how happy Sybil looks! Hope you can focus on the happy times real soon, and well done you two for making sure Sybil had a full and active live – better than just in Dogs Trust! xxx
